You didn’t answer my ask!
There are several possibilities for this heinous act of misconduct. One, we didn’t see fit to respond to it. Two, we accidentally deleted it and for that we apologise. Three, we have a large number of asks and haven’t seen to it yet.
Why isn’t my submission up?
Again, several potential possibilities. One, it’s too similar to a previous entry. Two, it was appalling. Three, it applied to a multitude of cultures and this blog isn’t “you know you’re a person when…” but feel free to make that if you so wish.
But that isn’t what I put in my submission!
The admin who edits the submissions is studying English at university and has decided her way of phrasing your idea is considerably better.

These should be “You know you’re English when”
No. A lot of them apply to all of Britain. Britain being England, Scotland, and Wales. Not Northern Ireland. That is part of the United Kingdom. Please, we’re tired of hearing this, and whilst we’re aware that some may only apply to English people, we aim for the majority to be British.
LOL you made a typo and I obnoxiously pointed it out why didn’t you post the ask.
Because we’d rather quietly fix it rather than have the mistakes publicised in such a way, we’re only human and humans make mistakes.
Also paint doesn’t have spell check.
