Well, it’s the start of the next season of the เว็บสล็อต 289 Gauntlet and everyone seemed excited. Game 1 started off with a bang, and a total of 40 players came out to spew chips left and right. If you aren’t sure what the Gauntlet is at this point, then why are you reading this? But for the uninformed – The Gauntlet is FTR’s private poker league which has been running since 2004. It is now in the 7th season, and is bigger than ever. Each game has an $11 buy-in and you earn points every game based on how you finish. For information on registering for the Gauntlet, visit the Gauntlet Forum!

During the course of the season, players compete for more than just bragging rights as FlopTurnRiver adds some nice extra prizes. Even though felting your arch-rival forum member is loads of fun, it’s even more thrilling to win loads of cash! Play well and run good and you’ll work your way up the leaderboard. At the end of the season, 3rd place wins free FTR gear and $75, 2nd place receives FTR gear and $150, but everyone is shooting for 1st place which gets the FTR gear and $300, plus the beautiful and coveted FTR Gauntlet crystal trophy! That’s not all. Randomly, during the Gauntlet games, there will be special bonus or bounty prizes announced, so make sure you show up for your full 16 games!

Some changes from season 6:

– There are now 32 total games, and you can play 16 of them opposed to 12!

– There will be mixed games instead of just no-limit hold’em! These include 6-Max NLH, Heads-Up NLH, and Pot-Limit Omaha 8.

– Givememyleg has received god mode from Xianti – stay out of his way.

Just like last season, after reading the summary, make sure to see who won this games award for “lol cooleraments” which will be the cooler of the night, “wtf was he thinking” which will be the questionable play of the night, and “beat of the night” which will be the worst beat.

Now that we have that out of the way, let’s get to the game 1 action! We saw a lot of familiar faces, including past champions Fimanoid, and WildbobAA. Some other FTR veterans that showed up were drmbcoy, sicko nutsinho, the colorful Triptanes, mcatdog, dwarfman, the handsome givememyleg, Alexos, Deanglow, TLR, donkeythorne, mrhappy333, among others. There were also a lot of newcomers; will641, ecruse, Keilah, and Tiresman just to name a few. Bigspenda and swiggidy didn’t register as they had a little date of their own.

As things got started and people took their virtual seat, Xianti showed up to announce some special bonuses! Anyone who had AA cracked at anytime throughout the tournament would win $10 (which happened, but we will get to that later), and put a free FTR money clip bounty on the head of givememyleg. Why me? I don’t know.

As I said earlier, 40 people entered and sat across 5 tables. Getting started, there was mainly only a few small pots, and on the very first hand givememyleg stole half of mcatdog’s stack with a non-standard play with TPTK:
